Gladstone Baseball Rallies To Beat Southern Door
COLEMAN, Wis.---The Gladstone High School baseball team fell behind 4-0 before coming back to post a 9-4 victory over Southern Door on Saturday in Wisconsin. The Braves and Eagles met at Coleman High School for this non-conference game, before Southern Door played a league contest against Coleman and lost, 8-0. Tyson Seymour was the winning pitcher, and he helped his own cause with two doubles and two runs batted in. Braeden Lamberg led the way at the plate with four hits, two of which were triples. Lamberg drove in three runs. Ben Kelly came in to pitch the seventh inning for Gladstone and closed the door, striking out two batters and serving up a fly ball. Southern Door fell to 12-7 with the loss. Gladstone (21-4) travels to Negaunee for a doubleheader on Wednesday evening, and will head downstate for games on Friday against Traverse City St. Francis and Saturday against Gaylord and Boyne City. |
