Gladstone First Baseman Seymour Picked All-State
Gladstone High School senior first baseman Tyson Seymour has been named to the Division Three All-State First Team by the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association. Seymour batted .437 with three home runs and 28 RBI as the Braves finished with a 29-8 record. He was the only Upper Peninsula player to be named All-State First Team. Kingsford senior Guy Barrows was named to the Division Two All-State Second Team. Escanaba senior pitcher Justin Popelka did not make an All-State team, but he was picked to the All-district and All-region teams, and was honored for his academics. And in Division Four, Norway Knights center fielder/pitcher Micah Wilson was named to the All-State Team by the state's baseball coaches. |
