Escanaba Jr. Girls, Fans Say Goodbye To Kirkland
SEATTLE, Wash.---The Escanaba Junior Girls (age 13-14) flew out of Seattle-Tacoma Airport on Sunday, one day after playing their final game at the Little League Junior Softball World Series. The girls flew to Ohio, where the team won its Central Regional championship and then took off to the West Coast more than one week ago.

Everyone is welcome to show up at the Lemmerand Park at about 7:30 Monday night to give the girls a pat on the back. Escanaba won its first 15 All-Star games to win district, state, and regional championships. The girls lost four out of five games at the World Series, but finished sixth of the nine teams there.
