Iron Mountain Wins Escanaba Jr. Cubs Tournament
 ESCANABA---The Iron Mountain Golds won the championship of the Escanaba Junior Cubs American Legion Baseball Tournament Sunday evening, beating Graetz Manufacturing of Coleman, Wis, 6-0, at Al Ness Field. Norway High School's Kody Hendricks threw a complete-game one-hitter. The Golds broke a scoreless tie in the fifth inning with four runs, two of them on an Isaac Ray hit. Other runs scored on passed balls, wild pitches, and errors.  |
