Wiffleball Tournament Held Again In Hermansville
CUNARD---The eighth annual Polfus Wiffleball Tournament was held this weekend in the Menominee County town of Hermansville. Ten teams of guys played in the double elimination event Friday night and Saturday afternoon. The game is a variation of baseball, with a light-weight ball and bat being used. This tournament was started by Hermansville resident Seth Polfus when he was 14 years old and a student at North Centrail High School. It's become a yearly tradition. In Saturday's final round, Polfus and his teammates used the home field advantage to win the championship. His team "Take A Whiff of This" beat "Cheese Nuts", coming from the loser's bracket to win twice, 17-10 and 13-8.
