The Bay College Norse women's basketball team cruised past the Muskegon Community College Jayhawks, 77-60, on Saturday, to stay unbeaten in conference games. After leading just 19-15 after the first quarter, the Norse clamped down on defense in the second quarter. The latest match-up between the Menominee Maroons and Marinette Marines boys basketball teams Saturday night went the same way most recent M&M games have gone: into the Menominee win column. The Maroons won their tenth straight game, beating the Marines for the second time this season, 92-67. Tanner Theurkauf led the Maroons with 23 points, all but one of them in the second half. Kaden Ducane had 20 points ane eight rebounds for the Marines. Menominee improved to 10-1 on the season while Marinette fell to 4-11.

The Marinette High School boys basketball team came up short Thursday night against the Freedom Irish, falling, 80-44, in Marinette. Connor Eastman led the Marines again with 13 points. Donovan Davis had a double-double of 14 points and ten rebounds for Freedom. Marinette fell to 4-10 on the season.
