On Tuesday, Escanaba beat Munising, 58-16, and then topped Bark River-Harris, 70-12. The Gladstone High School wrestling team won the championship of the annual Ray Mariucci Invitational Saturday afternoon in Kingsford. The Braves had three individual champions: Jeremy Kadish, Bradley Gagnon, and Diego Mileski.

Escanaba ended up a point-and-a-half behind Reedsville, Wis. The Gladstone Braves finished fifth and the Bark River-Harris Broncos were 14th in the 23-team field. Escanaba senior Travis Heller won the championship Saturday in the 160-pound weight class at the "Battle on the Bay" tournament in Green Bay, Wis.
