Marquette Girls Beat Eskymos To Stay Undefeated
 ESCANABA---Hunter Viitala had a big night as the Marquette High School girls basketball team posted a 71-58 win over the Escanaba Eskymos Thursday in Escanaba. Viitala had 28 points and pulled down 13 rebounds as the Redettes built a big second quarter lead and cruised to the victory. Destiny Beckwith had 19 points and nine rebounds for Marquette. The Redettes stayed undefeated with a 13-0 record. Escanaba got a big game from Michelle LaFave, who scored 25 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Lynsey Collins, Ashley Cook, and Sam Connor all added seven points for Escanaba. The Eskymo girls' record fell to 4-6 on the season.
