Escanaba Cheerleaders Win Gladstone Invitational
GLADSTONE---It was a successful weekend for the Escanaba Competitive Cheerleading program as the girls swept all three flights at the Gladstone Invitational. Escanaba not only won the varsity meet, but the Eskymos also took the middle school and junior varsity trophies in the daylong event. In the varsity match, Escanaba took first place with 746.14 points. Gladstone was second with 732.64. Norway was third with 680.66 points and Manistique finished in fourth place with 674.22 points. Escanaba won all three rounds, topping Gladstone 226.60-224.10 in the first, 212.14-204.04 in the second, and 309.40-304.50 in the third round.
