Bark River Bucs Get Revenge On Escanaba Cubs
ESCANABA---The Bark River Bucs American Legion Baseball team paid back the Escanaba Cubs in a big way on Monday, 16-0, in seven innings, at Al Ness Field. The Cubs had stunned the Bucs in a nine-inning marathon game late Saturday night. Bark River pounded out 14 hits, three of them by Zach Englund, who also made a sliding catch in left field that turned into an inning ending 7-6-3 double play. Logan Heim had a two-run double during a seven-run Bucs third inning. Mason Korhonen threw all seven innings, allowing three hits, and striking out seven batters. He used 104 pitches.
