REMEMBERING BOB: Iverson Honored At Races

ESCANABA---Another great night of racing weas held in Escanaba last Saturday night at the Escanaba Speedway, and it was a special night as the late racing legend Bob Iverson was honored.

Iverson, known as the "Hyde Hustler", dominated the tracks in boithe Norway and Escanaba in his more than 30 years of racing, winning ten track championships in Norway alone. He was inducted into the Upper Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame in 1998 and into the Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame two years later.

The next races at the Escanaba Speedway will be on opening night of the Upper Peninsula State Fair, on Mondy, August 12th.
