MARINETTE, Wis.---Gladstone's Matt Argall won the U.P. Challenge men's golf tournament on Sunday, which was actually held in Marinette, Wisconsin.
Argall shot a third-round "70" to end the three-round event with a 209, two shots clear of second place finisher Jim Markell of Iron Mountain. Mark Ray finished third, three strokes back. Ishpeming's Mark Clements finished fourth a 216, seven strokes off the lead. One notable finisher: Carney-Nadeau teenager Hunter Eichhorn finished in eleventh place, shooting a competitive 221, a dozen shots off the lead against many much-older golfers
