HARRIS---The new Bay College Norse men's basketball team has signed another local athlete to play for the program in its first year next November. Bark River-Harris Broncos senior Jace Briggs signed on the dotted line Thursday afternoon at his school.
Briggs is a three-sport athlete at BR-H, having played as the team's quarterback in football this past fall. He will be a pitcher on the BR-H baseball team this spring.
Briggs joins Joe Gibbs (Gladstone) and Darien Nichols (Manistique) as signed players for the Bay College team. Norse Head Coach/Athletic Director Matt Johnson continues to recruit other Upper Peninsula boys to also join the team for its inaugural season.
