The Northern Michigan University women's soccer team will now join the Wildcat volleyball team on Mackinac Island this fall, as the Green and Gold will meet the Northwood Timberwolves on August 19 at 5 p.m. for a historic exhibition taking place at Great Turtle Park.
The two former-conference foes most recently met on October 22, 2021, a 3-0 victory for the Wildcats at home.
After NMU volleyball faced the Central Michigan University Chippewas in an exhibition to begin 2022, the two teams will once again get together on August 19th at noon at the Mackinac Island Public Schools Gymnasium to start the momentous day for Northern on Michigan's world-renowned tourist destination.
