The Gladstone Major Boys Little League All-Stars (age 10-12) advanced to the District Ten championship game on Tuesday, beating Iron Mountain, 4-2, in seven innings at Howes Field.
In the consolation bracket, Schaffer eliminated Norway, 3-2, cutting down the tying run at the plate to end the game. Iron Mountain and Schaffer will play on Wednesday, and then Gladstone takes on the winner in the championship game on Thursday.
