  • NMU Women's Basketball Beats Wayne State

    Sydney Dillinger hit a free throw with two seconds remaining, and junior Tess Weatherly scored a career-high to help put the Northern Michigan University Women's Basketball team past Wayne State University 67-66. NMU put four players in double figures in the team's final home game of the season.  Freshman Lexi Smith led the team with 19 points while Weatherly used a career-high five three-pointers to score her new career-high of 15 points. 

  • NMU Men's Basketball Falls To Wayne State

    The Northern Michigan University Men's Basketball team fell to Wayne State University 71-70 Saturday afternoon in Marquette. Jordan Perez and Eddie Tornes were honored prior to the game as part of Senior Day. The Wildcats were led by junior Naba Echols, who finished with 25 points and five assists.  Sophomore Will Carius chipped in with 22 points and led the team with nine rebounds.
