The Michigan Tech University hockey team won the WCHA conference championship and an NCAA Tournament bid, beating Northern Michigan, 2-0, Saturday night in Marquette.   • NMU Athletics' Business-After-Hours Sept. 5

    The Northern Michigan University Athletics Department will host their annual Business Open House on Wednesday, September 5 inside the Superior Dome. Beginning at 5 p.m., it's a chance to meet the NMU Coaches and get a tour of the new Rick and Nancy Hacht Football Center. You can also network with community members, and test your football skills with a field goal kicking contest. It is sponsored by the Radio Results Network and TV-6.
