Crow, Blowers Lead Braves To 3-2 Volleyball Win
GLADSTONE---The Gladstone High School volleyball team pulled out a 3-2 win over the Gwinn Model Towners Thursday night, as senior Megan Crow dominated the fifth set that was set up by clutch serving by sophomore Alivia Blowers. The scores were 25-23, 17-25, 15-25, 27-25, 15-10. But the Model Towners scored ten straight points to win the second set, then led from start to finish in the third set to put the Braves on the brink of a loss. Gladstone led throughout much of the fourth set before Gwinn caught up, rallying for seven of eight points to serve for the match at 24-23. The Braves rallied with Blowers getting the big service ace to win the set, 27-25, sending the evening to a decisive play-to-15 set.
