Gladstone High School graduate MacKenzie Shepeck worked five perfect innings to preserve Western Michigan University's 4-2 win over Northern Illinois on Sunday. Shepeck entered the circle to start the top of the third inning , trailing 2-1. She went to work, striking out three batters, forcing four ground outs, two pop outs and six fly outs during her five perfect innings.
