Three Gladstone Braves On Div. 3 All-District Team

GLADSTONE---Gladstone High School baseball players Hunter Garling, Ben Schwalbach, and Jake Peterson have been named to the Division Three All-District Team by the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association.


Garling, a sophomore, batted .478 with four home runs and 25 runs batted in in the regular season. Schwalbach, a freshman, hit .403 and drove in 23 runs.

And junior Jake Peterson was selected as a pitcher. He was 5-0 on the season with one save and a 1.10 earned run average.

The kids are now eligible for All-Region consideration.

Four Braves were also chosen to the All-District Academic Team: Peterson, Jack Carey, and seniors Sam Pouliot and Christian Tackman.

Gladstone's Don Lauscher and Boyne City's Mark Pontoni were named Coaches of the Year.
