NORWAY---The Norway High School volleyball team won a district championship Thursday night, beating the North Dickinson Nordics in a four-set match. The Nordics won the first set, 25-21, before the Knights took the next three, 25-12, 25-18, 25-20. The Knights improved to 18-8-2 on the season after beating the Nordics for the fourth time this season.
Norway will actually go to Felch on Tuesday for the regional semifinals, where the Knights will face NCAA-Division One recruit Mya Hemmer (Baylor) and the Ishpeming Hematites.
North Dickinson finished its season with a 17-12-2 record.
