Ishpeming Dominates Inland Lakes; Heads Back To Breslin Center

GAYLORD---The Ishpeming High School girls basketball team crushed Indian River Inland Lakes, 60-22, in the MHSAA Division Four state quarterfinals Wednesday night in Gaylord.

The game was played one day late because of the blizzard that impacted the U.P. The Hematites led just 15-10 after the first quarter, but outscored the Bulldods, 24-1, in the second quarter to blow the game open. Janessa Eagle scored 27 points to lead the Hematites, and Mya Hemmer added 21 points.
