Esky Girls Win U.P. Cheer Jamboree Championship

ESCANABA---The Escanaba High School competitive cheerleading team took first place at the U.P. Cheer Jamboree Wednesday night in Escanaba. The Eskymos had 740.30 points. Gladstone was second with 702.48 and Manistique finished third with 692.66.

 

Escanaba won all three rounds, by roughly 9, 17, and 11 points. The Escanaba and Gladstone girls are off until districts in Alma on Feb. 15.
