Lundin Taking Over Gladstone Girls Hoop Program
GLADSTONE---The Gladstone High School girls basketball program will have a new head coach for the first time in more than a decade with the hiring of Eric Lundin. Lundin, who was the junior varsity coach the past few seasons, takes over for Karl Dollhopf, who is stepping down after 14 years as the varsity girls basketball coach. "We're very excited for Eric to take over the program, " said Gladstone Athletic Director Matt Houle, who himself is retiring after this school year. "He brings a lot to the table. He's been a varsity basketball coach at Rapid River, and he knows our kids, knows our program very well. They don't grow on trees, so we count our blessings that we have someone of Eric's ability to come in and bring a passion to the program." Lundin was officially hired by the Gladstone School Board Monday night. |
