POWERS---The North Central High School basketball team returned home from East Lansing Saturday night, and were given a big "welcome home" celebration at the school in Powers. The boys won their first regional championship in 28 years and played in the Class D Final Four before falling to Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian at Michigan State University.
A large crowd of family, friends, and members of the general public showed up for the celebration.
