GLADSTONE---Brandon Robinette scored 22 points and Jamie Hiltunen added 17 as the Escanaba Eskymos beat the Gladstone Braves, 67-44, Friday night in Gladstone.
The Braves jumped to a 20-12 lead midway through the second quarter, but the Eskymos went on a 17-0 run to take control of the game.
Hiltunen made four three-pointers, and the Eskymos had eight 'treys' as a team. Gladstone did not have a player score in double figures. Tyler Wells had nine points and Max Mahoney scored eight. Escanaba is now 3-1, while Gladstone fell to 0-3.
The Eskymos travel to West Iron County on Friday, Dec. 27.
The Braves travel to Mid Peninsula on Monday. That game will be broadcast live on WCHT-AM (600), and on-line at www.rrnsports.com, starting at 7:15 p.m.
