GLADSTONE---The Gladstone Braves and Escanaba Eskymos played 32 tough minutes of basketball Friday night, and the Braves led most of the way, posting a 51-42 win in Gladstone. Anna Wulf had 11 points and Lexi Hongisto added ten for the Braves.
Ashley Cook scored 15 points for Escanaba, while the team's leading scorer, Michelle LaFave, was held to nine points.
Gladstone led, 13-12, after one quarter, and 25-20 at halftime.
Gladstone won the junior varsity game, 52-30.
