ESCANABA---The Escanaba Eskymos won the championship of the 47th annual Elks Wrestling Inviational on Saturday in Escanaba.
Escanaba won championships in five different weight classes: Collin Arnt (125), Tyler Lawson (135), Hunter Larson (140), Dayton Miron (152), and Kahler Geyer (171).
Escanaba took first on the team scoreboard with 224 points. Coopersville finished second with 160, and Gladstone was third with 147.5 points.
Ishpeming (130.5) was fourth and Grayling (112.5) finished in fifth place.
There were 18 teams in the daylong invitational.
Gladstone had three individual champions: Michael Brazeau (103), Hunter Solis (119), amd Cole Hansen (160).
