The Bay College Norse had its most complete baseball performance of the season on Friday, beating Western Connecticut State, 11-0, in Fort Pierce, Florida. Lexi Winling pitched a complete-game and Maddy Griffin drove in three runs with a single, double, and triple, to lead the Bay College women's softball team to a 5-1 win over the Spoon River (Ill.) Snappers on Thursday in Florida. This followed an 8-0 loss earlier in the day to DuPage (Ill.) College. The Norse finish the spring trip with a 8-2 record.   • LSSU Hockey Team Eliminated In Semifinals
    Fourth-seeded Lake Superior State was eliminated from the 2019 Western Collegiate Hockey Association Playoffs with a 2-0 loss at top-seeded Minnesota State on Saturday night at Verizon Center. This followed a 2-1 loss for the Lakers on Friday night. LSSU finished its season with a 23-13-2 overall record.
