Eskymo Tennis Team Ties For GNC Championship
 MARQUETTE---The Escanaba High School girls tennis team won a share of the Great Northern Conference championship on Wednesday, tying Kingsford 27-27 at Marquette High School. The Gladstone Braves finished fifth with 12 points. Escanaba's Kayla Van Portfliet won the GNC title at #3 singles, while Eskymo teammate Hannah Beversluis won the GNC title at #4 singles. The #4 doubles team of Olivia LaForest and Angie LaMarche won the GNC title, and the #1 doubles team of Olivia Berquist and Emily LaFave took conference runners-up. Gladstone's Bridget Becker (#2 singles), Mollie Wiltzius (#3 singles) and Kacie Tryan (#4 singles) all made the semifinals. The #1 doubles team of Anna Caramella and Paige Schwartz also made it to the conference semifinals.
