Ten Games Highlight Saturday's Tourney Schedule
HERMANSVILLE---The Hermansville Community Center was full of basketball from morning to night on Saturday as the 79th annual Gold Medal Classic continued with ten contests. SATURDAY'S GOLD MEDAL SCOREBOARD Class C: Norway Gallino Seamless 86, Escanaba Shockers 58---Mike Polfus 18 points for Norway. Justin Wiles had 18 for Escanaba.
Class EE: Hermansville Dry Kiln 63, Carney Rasmussen Electric 57 (OT)---Mike Bellmore 17 points for Hermansville. Eric Nygard had 21 for Carney.
Class E: Stephenson Wangerin Logging 85, Carney 40 Acres 83---Bryce Bilski scored 24 points, Bryce Thompson added 19, and Christian Harris chipped in 16 points for the winners. Tyler Price had 26 points and Mike Polfus added 22 in a losing effort for Carney.
Class D: Hermansville Luft Advertising 63, Escanaba Shockers 57---Kyle Bellefuille scored 26 points for Luft Advertising. Sam Molnar led Escanaba with 23 points.
Class D: Daggett Kakuks 53, Menominee Dubey Park 47---Sam Larson scored 20 points to lead the Daggett Kakuks. Aaron Pettit had 18 points for Menominee Dubey Park.
Class E: Wallace Jim's Plumbing 91, Hardwood Ginseng Farm 61---Jake Heres led Jim's Plumbing with 26 points. Hunter Mattson had 23 points for Hardwood in a losing effort.
Class D: Stephenson Wangerin Logging 98, Big Bay 906'ers 57---Casey Wilson had 27 points to lead Wangerin Logging. James Casey had 23 points for Big Bay.
Class C: Menominee Dubey Park 100, Big Bay 906'ers 77---Aaron Pettit had 25 points and Jordan Miller added 22 for Dubey Park. Tyler Polfus led Big Bay with 23 points.
Class EE: Norway Dewey Brownberry Bread 63, Waucedah Woodticks 61---John Bellaire had 22 points and Justin Bal added 17 for Brownberry Bread. Bryce Grayvold led Waucedah with 20 points and Kyle Johnson added 15 points.
