ESCANABA---The Escanaba Junior Hockey Association handed out its annual awards Monday night, and the members of the Escanaba Eskymos hockey team were well-represented in the ceremony. The Eskymos had a school-best 24-4 season this winter.
The EAJHA senior scholarship recipients were Nick Vandermissen, Brianna Belanger and Jalyn Dagenais received the Herbert Kristen award.
Ben Lasecki got the Gil Versailles Award, Luke Anthony got the Arnie Holmio Award; and Jake Eastin was awarded the coveted Ovid Provo Award.
And pictured below: Pat Goddard was given the Hockey Association's Coach of the Year honors. The Eskymo hockey team's banquet is set for this Wednesday night.
