ESCANABA---The Kingsford High School volleyball team got off to a strong start and then cruised to a 3-0 win over the Escanaba Eskymos Tuesday night in Escanaba.
The scores were 25-17, 25-16, and 25-22.
The Flivvers were in control for most of the night, except for a portion of the second set when Escanaba's Becca Piron had a run of eight stright points on her serve.
But the Eskymo lead didn't last long, because Kingsford's Erika Ellis immediately went on a service run of her own...for six points.
