The Gladstone High School baseball team advanced to its first-ever Final Four last season.
With the 2015 season about to begin this week, the Braves are getting some pre-season recognition. Gladstone is ranked sixth in the state in Division Three in the first statewide poll by the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association.
In Division Two, the Escanaba Eskymos received honorbale mention. And in the Division Four poll, the Rudyard Bulldogs received honorable mention.
Gladstone opens its season at home on April 11th against Appleton North.
Escanaba opens its season on the road at Marinette next Tuesday, April 7th.
