ESCANABA---The Upper Peninsula high school football season is offically under way. Practices were allowed to begin on Monday, and several Upper Peninsula schools took advantage by holding special practices at exactly midnight.
One of them was Escanaba, where the Midnight Madness practice has become a tradition. The guys were on the field again Monday morning at exactly midnight, and ran a practice for two hours.
