Marquette Redman Soccer Loses Three Tight Games
SAGINAW---The Marquette High School varsity soccer team competed Saturday at a tournament hosted by Saginaw Heritage High School, and narrowly lost all three games.
The Redmen lost to the host Heritage Hawks, 1-0, in their first game. In the second game, the Redmen fell to New Boston Huron, 2-1. In that game, Marquette scored at the 22 minute mark of second half, with freshman Max Dawson finding the back of the net, assisted by senior Trevor Salmon. In their third game, the Redmen lost to Flushing High School, 1-0. Marquette sophomore Harrison Anthod was in goal for all three games, allowing four total goals.
