DePere and Midland Berryhill hooked up in Sunday's championship game of the Gregg Johnson Memorial American Legion Baseball Tournament in Escanaba. Gladstone High School senior Clay Cole has been named to the Division Three All-State First Team by the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association. Cole was selected as an outfielder, and he was also the ace of the Braves pitching staff. He batted .467 this season, scoring 31 runs in the lead-off spot. He was 4-1 on the mound with a 2.07 ERA. In Division Four, Norway senior Micah Wilson was named to the All-State First Team.
