Gladstone, Bark River-Harris Prepare For Regionals
GLADSTONE---The Gladstone Braves and Bark River-Harris Broncos met in a friendly baseball scrimmage Tuesday night, as both teams get ready for Saturday's regionals. One highlight was a home run to right field by Gladstone's Braeden Lamberg. The game was played without certified umpires, with Gladstone assistant coaches serving as umps. There also was no scoreboard, and no public address announcements. Gladstone will face Roscommon Saturday morning at 10:00 (Live on FM-105.5), and Bark River-Harris will take on Indian River Inland Lakes at 1:00 (Live on FM-107.3). The Braves will be competing in their fourth straight regional tournament in Division Three, while the Broncos will be playing in their first-ever Division Four regional. Catcher Braeden Lamberg, first baseman Tyson Seymour, infielder Lucas Weinert, and pitcher Jared Crow were all honored by the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association. Lamberg batted .448 with three home runs, 21 RBI, and 21 stolen bases. Seymour hit .437, with three homers and 28 RBI. Weinert batted .349 with one home run and 26 RBI.
